1. Who we are

Silicondrop is a licensed Barcelona taxi transfer service operated by an individual taxi driver based in Barcelona, Spain. Contact: support@silicondrop.com

2. What data we collect

When you make a booking we collect: your name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, travel details (flight number, ship name, pickup/drop-off address, date and time) and payment information. Payment card data is processed exclusively by Stripe and is never stored by Silicondrop.

When you apply to our partner pilot we collect the business and contact details you submit, including company, contact name, work email, phone, country, business type, website, expected transfer volume and any notes you choose to provide.

3. How we use your data

We use booking information to fulfil your transfer, communicate before and during it, and send your payment receipt. We use partner-application information to assess the requested business relationship, contact the applicant and, if approved, operate and reconcile the manual partner arrangement. The legal bases are taking requested pre-contractual steps, performing the resulting agreement and our legitimate interest in operating the service. We do not use this data for unrelated marketing without consent.

4. Data sharing

To operate the service, relevant booking or partner-application details are processed by a small number of providers: Stripe Inc. (payment processing), Resend Inc. (transactional email and partner-application notifications), Cloudflare Inc. (website hosting and data storage), and Google LLC (address search suggestions and, if you arrived through one of our ads, conversion measurement). Your driver receives only the details needed to perform your transfer. We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not share it with any third party for their own commercial purposes.

5. Data retention

Booking records are kept for a maximum of 2 years for accounting and legal compliance purposes, then deleted. Partner applications that do not become active arrangements are kept for a maximum of 12 months after the last correspondence. Records needed for an approved partner arrangement are kept while it is active and for up to 2 years afterward for reconciliation, accounting and legal compliance, then deleted.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data at any time. Email support@silicondrop.com and we will respond within 72 hours.

7. Cookies and website analytics

This site uses Google Ads conversion measurement (the Google tag) to understand the stages of the booking journey: landing-page visits, prices shown, booking forms started, secure checkouts opened, and completed paid bookings. These measurements may use advertising-related cookies to attribute those aggregate actions to one of our ads. We use the information to assess and improve our advertising and booking experience; Silicondrop does not use it to build its own profiles of individual visitors.

Measurement cookies are denied by default. The site asks whether you want to allow them and communicates your choice to Google through Consent Mode. If you decline, the booking service remains fully functional. Google may receive limited cookieless measurement signals, without advertising or analytics cookie storage, to provide aggregate reporting. Stripe may set cookies required for payment security and fraud prevention during checkout.

We also use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic, including pages visited, referral sources and device/browser information. This service works without analytics cookies or persistent visitor identifiers. We use public page paths for this measurement and do not start this tracker on payment-return URLs containing booking identifiers. Learn how Ahrefs Web Analytics works.
